Chicago Flower & Garden Show
A spectacular, world renowned showcase of products and services that are useful to the gardening community held yearly and visited by 150,000 gardeners and homeowners.

Chicago Park District
A nice site and lists the events planned in the City. Start at their site map. Flower shows have been presented by the Chicago Park District for nearly 100 years. This started when Garfield Park Conservatory first opened. These annual shows have continued throughout the years, and are still well attended at both the Garfield Park Conservatory and the Lincoln Park Conservatory.Check out all the flower shows.

vPlants
A database of data and images from specimens of vascular plants developed by three major botanical institutions in the Chicago area coming togther -: The Morton Arboretum, the Field Museum of Natural History, and the Chicago Botanic Garden. You can search data for about 90,000 plant specimens from the greater Chicagoland Area, which are housed in the herbaria of each of the partner institutions.

ePlants is an on-line searchable database providing plant evaluation information and digital images for a variety of ornamental plants, including perennials, vines, shrubs and trees, from the trials of the Chicago Botanic Garden.
