Chicago Rooftop Garden ProjectCity of Chicago Rooftop Garden
On top of Chicago's City Hall in the Loop is the Roof Top Garden Project. The Project had its first planting in 2000. It was conceived as a demonstration project and was part of the City's Urban Heat Island Initiative. This initiative's purpose was to test the benefits of green roofs and how they affect temperature and air quality.It has over 20,000 plants of more than 100 species, including shrubs, vines and two trees.

Chicago Botanic Garden
The Chicago Botanic Garden is really a garden comprised of 26 gardens. From the English Walled Garden to the wild Midwestern Prairie, specialty city_flowersgardens and native habitat areas show the diverse beauty of nature. Located north of Chicago in Glencoe.

Gardens of The Magnificent Mile
During the summer months, take a tour of the Magnificent Mile flowers, bursting with colorful flora from around the world. Spectacular landscape displays and pristine maintenance create a mile-long expanse of an unforgettable garden experience.
